my favorite school memory
My favorite memory of school was the day when the classes of grades 7-11 represented different countries of the world such as the Netherlands, japan, Nigeria and so on. It was really a great experience. The hard work and dedication of each and every student who put into setting up their class to represent their country.
The students had to talk about each country’s culture, language, food, clothing, historical events, monuments and music because it was a contest to see which class in each different year group wins first place. The classes were not only decorated beautifully but we were also able to learn new things about each country. So last year the country which my class represented was Egypt and the class was magnificently decorated with paintings of pharaohs and there were many fascinating facts about Egypt scattered across the class. Everyone did a great job in setting up the class and playing their roles. I hope that in the future we will have these sort of activities again soon and until then this will be one of my fondest school memories. |
